To the ones avoiding the dentist

If you’ve been putting off your oral health, we get it. Dental visits can feel overwhelming, especially if you’ve had a bad experience. Whether it’s been 6 months or 50 years since you’ve last been in a dental office, we’re happy to see you in our judgment-free space.

Built for the anxious

Dental anxiety looks different for everyone. We’ve built an experience that meets you where you are and helps you feel more in control.

Paying for your visit

No insurance? Start with our $169 new patient special, which includes a cleaning, exam, and x-rays. If you need a deep cleaning, part of that fee is credited toward treatment.

Want ongoing care without the hassle of insurance? Our in-house membership plan includes preventive visits and a discount on other treatments starting at $45/month. We offer plans for adults, kids, and patients in periodontal maintenance.

Have insurance? We’re not in-network with any dental plans, but we work with most major PPOs and will file claims on your behalf.

Answers to your questions

How soon can I book an appointment?

We do our best to offer availability within a week — sometimes even sooner. Just reach out, and we’ll find a time that works for you.

Do I need dental insurance to be seen?

No. We welcome all patients, with or without insurance. If you don’t have coverage, ask about our $169 new patient special or in-house membership plans.

Will I get a cleaning at my first visit?

Yes — as long as you’re due for a routine cleaning and don’t need gum treatment, we’ll take care of it during your first appointment.

What if I’m nervous or embarrassed?

Totally normal — and nothing to be ashamed of. We’ve built this place for people just like you, and we’ll meet you with kindness, not judgment.

Will I get to see MEADOW?

You probably will! MEADOW, our Rehabilitative Facility Dog, is part of our team and often spends time in the clinic helping patients feel calm and supported. Thrive Family Dental is the only general dental office in the state with a certified working dog — just let us know if you’d like MEADOW by your side during your visit.

How long does the first visit take?

Most new patient visits take about 60–90 minutes. You’ll get a thorough exam, x-rays, time with Dr. Friberg, and usually a cleaning.

What should I bring to my appointment?

Just your ID, insurance info (if you have it), and any questions you’d like to ask. We’ll take care of the rest.

Your smile deserves a spot on our calendar. We can’t wait to see you.
